The writer, the poet, the artist , is precisely the who sees, and perceives this banal but hidden reality. 
There are no readers good or poor, but there are souls more or less sensitive to this urgent need to realize what there is. We understand that we will never know everything, this is essential for human beings, we are imperfect, and in my opinion, we are imperfect because we are like little pieces of a big puzzle.
Each of us has a key, some of us know, others do not even know who has.
Part of the writer's craft (some, of course), is delve into the thoughts, inviting everyone to reflect too.
Reading should be an invitation for reflection, much more than entertainment ...
